Most interesting is the they seem to have abandoned the lowest cost tier. Nothing under $500 in the line up now....ok $499. The Embassy was the best $350 I've spent. I guess Ibanez is the true beginning brand.

Well Gibson is further cutting their bass line now in the Epiphone brand. They are making a thunderbird only for this year it seems.

I did not check the link, but maybe they have too much in inventory and want to hold production on some models this year.
Ah I must have missed that link in their menu or my phone was glitching!
Actually they've been changing their website for the past week. Last weekend their website showed that all basses except for the Thunderbird Vintage Pro were discontinued, then late this week they updated it again to include the current models in my link above.
