Epiphone EB-0 Modding

Right. I've acquired an Epiphone EB-0 on the cheap that I was planning on modding.

I've bought one of these Artec Sidewinders with the thinking of sticking one in as a bridge pickup. Does anyone have experience with this mod or even have an idea of how it would sound?

I was thinking of wiring it V.V.T. or maybe throwing in a 3 way switch for neck, both and bridge. Any help with wiring would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Ah, The_Phoenician - cheers for that video. I'm loving the sounds he gets from his EB-3.

I will be installing a Model One down the line sometime but alas as of now, I'm skint.

I installed the Artec humbucker in the bridge position last night and wired the bass up for V.V.T and I quite like the tones but there is a fair bit of discrepancy in volume between the 2 humbuckers, I've raised and lowered the magnets accordingly but still the bridge humbucker's volume is still pretty weak. There's a problem with the tone control as well because when I turn it right down, it cuts the volume.

Anyone any ideas?

Thanks
