Epiphone EB-0 short scale

Hey-o...yeah I was looking for a thread discussing the sg bass pup alternatives. Im looking at the model one. What makes it "better"? Im looking for a bit more focused, tighter bass. That said I know what ive got and I like it, but just a bit tighter dig? How about the bridge pup? Im really not digging it. Anyone know of a direct replacement? +1000 on the supertone. "Whats wrong with the bridge?" Get a supertone and youll understand!

Do you have a super tone bridge on yours? I quite like the deep sound as I play a fender jazz normally, but want a bit more of a mid sound.

Yeah. Im a big fan of hipshot bridges, the one I put on my j bass, to my ears, made an improvement over my usual go to bridge...a badass. I ordered the supertone before the bass even got here. I dont think the original bridges are as bad as their reputation, but seriously a 1000 bass deserves better. The SG has gotten pretty close to what I wanted, but I desire a slight bit of tightness in the bottom end so I was hoping the model one might provide that. Id really really like to replace the bridge pup. Im also playing stereo out two vintage acoustic 370s into two vintage acoustic 406 wide cabs so I can pretty much bring down the walls of jericho.
