Epiphone Flying V Bass. Good or Bad?

I had two of them. The first one was the korina color and it rocked for a short scale bass. It had beautiful tones all over the board.

The second one was a black one and it seemed much cheaper. I had to replace the bridge and tuners. it was stolen at a show and I never replaced it.

I have a Dean Metalman V which is kinda cool. Normal scale and works great for drop D.

It's all in what you'd like. Go try it out and go from there.

I built a HOT-ROD Vee from a stripped 2nd body with a MM pickup. Plays fine, and is SUPER Light. But if you need a bit of sustain, I found mine had almost none. Great for Speed Metal/Punk/8th notes or better tunes...

Hey MaddAnthony_59....what model is that ESP bass case....I just got an Epi Flying V, and need a hardshell case for it. The regular Epi Flying V cases are for their guitars only.
Thanks
