I've always liked the look of tbirds and the sound of them but I also like the look of the Phoenix so has anyone tried out both or got any opinions on either if these basses

Epiphone Thunderbird/Thunderbird Pro IV or LTD Phoenix 204/1004

I play epi classic-IV pro, all stock and I love every bit of it, why? Gibson pickups!, the site says 7ply body, but if you count it it's the same as gibson tbird, 9ply, sound wise almost no difference to the gibson, idk what gibson was thinking when they made this epi classic-IV pro. the standard epi (bolt-on) is light years behind it, I can't speak for Pro-IV and Phoenix since I haven't played them.
I've never played the the Ltd Phoenix, but I own one of the Epiphone silverburst Tbirds and several other Ltds. Ltd all the way!
In my experience it's not even close.

I'll have to go against what Bobster said. I've found that, while the LTDs are nice, the Epi T-birds (especially the Set neck or thru necks) are amazing! I ordered a Classic-IV Pro 3 days ago & am awaiting delivery.
