Just received a used Epiphone Zenith bass, and if you know anything about them, I sure would like to learn more. Here's what happened - put in a battery and plugged in, output VERY low - so low, it was barely audible with the amp turned up all the way! OK, found out battery was also almost dead; put in another one, some improvement, but still not anywhere near what I would expect, volume-wise. I will be trying a fresh battery tomorrow, but I am wondering what I should be aware of for potential problems. If anyone out there has had any experience with this particular instrument, please feel free to chime in!
