i have an ashdown mag250 that seems to be incredibly bassy. I know thats a good thing for a bass amp to be bassy but for some reason i think its too much.
To get a decent bass level i find i have to have the bass knob on about 2 o clock. I think it might be because of the 5 band EQ the amp has and i dont use it properly. So can anyone please guide me on how to use the 5 band eq properly and effectively for slap tones, rock tone and a funky tone. I have the boss EQ pedal aswell, so guidance on that with the amp would be appreciated!
PS my bass has a 3 band EQ also
