Sure, feed the preamp a source of White Noise or something and use a spectrum analyzer to check the frequency response.
Why do you need to know the frequency centers and Q? The information really is not helpful, as you adjust your preamp's EQ until the bass sounds right using your ears.
Yep, just downloaded a freeware spectrum analyzer...fits the bill.
I guess it's more curiousity than anything. I suspect the bass control on my TRB 6ii is quite wide and sometimes I turn it hoping to get more of a 'thump' and the more I turn it the boomier it gets. I have a Klark-Teknik parametric EQ but usually don't lug it or any rack items around for that matter.
