Hey guys.

I have a Invalid Link Removed and it has four EQ knobs: Low, Mid, Shift, High. What exactly does the Shift knob do?

The product description calls it "Mid Shift", so obviously it has something to do with the Mid.

the manufacturer chose two different frequencies that the "mids" knob will affect. crank the mids up and down, while playing maybe your A string. listen to the sound change, click the shift button and the frequency that the mids affects will be a little higher or lower in frequency.

oops I was wrong, your mid is semi-parametric... from the max115 manual:
"This control provides a semi-parametric EQ that sets the frequency at which the mid control cuts or boosts. Rotating the control clockwise from left to right increases this frequency; it can be set anywhere between 200 Hz and 2 kHz."

if the shift was a push button, then my statement would be true.

Hm, I see. Did you find an online version of the manual? Guitar Center was not kind enough to provide me with one (or they just forgot to).
