Double Bass Ergo or NS Wav 4?

im looking to buy an EUB for around the price range of these instruments and im going to be playing mainly classical with some jazz. which would be better in terms of sound quality

I havent played the ergo, but I do have one of the czech NS basses, and in comparison the WAV bass is disappointing. Construction quality isnt as good, the tripod stand is terrible quality, and the sound is less complex, less clear, slightly more distortion to the tone. The tone controls on the czech ones allow you to dial in a wider range of useable tones more easily.

I use my bass in chamber groups. Its like a warm electric cello. Though I wouldnt want to use the WAV. The czech ones are worth the extra money.
