Ergonomic strap alternative?

I just run into these videos by Matt Garrison:

and I noticed he's not wearing any strap. It looks like the bass is placed in some kind of stand. Anyone know what it's called, where to get it or how to make it yourself? An internet search didn't do it for me. Looks like a great solution to end with back pain!

I don't know what stand he's using, but a comparable one is called the Mbrace. http://www.mbracestand.com/
I'm not crazy about their website but I love the stand.
I started using one when I had 3 vertebrae fused in my neck last year. I couldn't lift more than 5 lbs (so no bass). Having the bass on the stand meant that I could play as I recovered, and I found that I liked it more than playing with a strap. It doesn't hurt :D
I use it all the time now, and have no trouble gigging with it.
There are things that you have to get used to. You can't move with the bass like you can with a strap. But for me, the switch has been totally worth it.
