which do you prefer
They just feel nice. Especially if you got good techniqueWhy do you prefer Balls?
Depends on what you want out of a string. EB and Boomers are very different sounding. EB are more clear, zingy and have something of a scooped sound to me. Their character is lows and highs. What they do they do OK. Boomers have more lows, a lot more low mids, not a lot of top-end zing. Their character is a thick punch for rounds. At least this is the way my ears perceive them. They feel really good. So it all depends on what you're looking for.
I like a thick, full sound so they work very good for me on some of my basses. I used them a long time ago and in between tried about everything and I now find myself going back to them when I want rounds.
Give them a listen here: GHS Strings
Try some--you won't be out much and you may like them.
In a world full of really good strings, these are your options...no.
