So he's not doing repairs on the basses he's already built?
Exxxxxxactly.
Luckily I sent mine to Carey Nordstrand and Atlanta Bass Gallery footed the bill for the repairs. I bought the bass new from ABG and the problems with the bass were definitely due to Eshenbaugh.
Mark Eshenbaugh had my bass for something like four or five months before I finally got a hold of him and managed to have him ship it to Nordstrand.
I was talking with a few other Eshenbaugh owners who had their instruments with Mark for over a year and could not get a hold of him.
Mark is a good guy, but he was in over his head, I hold no grudge against him but I'll never deal with him again either. I will however, always like his basses but I'll make sure a luthier I trust looks at it before I ever purchase one.
On the other hand, Atlanta Bass Gallery and Nordstrand were a pleasure to work with and definitely turned the situation around.
fixed it for ya!
