Esopus Tailwater Acoustic/Electric Bass

Being a huge Spector fan I couldn't
wait to acquire one of Stuart's new works of art.
The Esopus Tailwater 32" scale
Acoustic/Electric Bass.

Over the past 4 years have been very rough for me. I've had 4 Spinal Surgeries and from Oct 2020 to Feb 2021. My right arm was totally paralyzed.

The 32"scale & 6lb light weight hollow body is perfect for me.
A totally different experience then a NS-2, but has that Stuart magic the same.

Fully Carved Top & what really was genius is a carved out built in Thumb rest.

Fishman Piezo Pickup but instead of a built in Fishman Pre Amp it comes with a Fishman Platinum Pro EQ Pedal. Some really unquie tones & it's one of those instruments that makes you play different (in a good way)

In the video you write that strings are La Bella Low Tension Flats, but silk on those is wine red, whereas these are gold, which would point to them being DR Legends.

I was told by Esopus they were Labella Low Tension Flats when it shipped to me. I will double check with them.

Thank you for your info. After checking, there was confusion on which bass got the Labella Low Tension Flats & the DR Legends. So in the Clips there are Dr Legend Flats on my #009 Tailwater Bass.

It's the 1st time I'm using Flats. I was always Roundwound player.
I'm going to soon be putting Dunlop Flats on it soon.

I just got a call from Stuart today (we fish together). He asked if he could build a fretless version for me. I'm in. I played a fretted version at NAMM and they're great.
