+1, every ESP/LTD i've ever played has been better than anything in its price range. i'm pumped for my D6 to arrive.

this thread id kind of lame thus far, but i wa simpressed by the esp ltd 6 string i played recently. 419 bucks on musicians friend with a spalted top. pretty sha-weet for a budget 6er.

i'm thinking of getting barts if i don't like the stock pups in my D6. does anyone know if the barts are a direct replacement?

I have a B304FM neck-through that I love. It's my main axe and I haven't played an ESP I didn't like. My Ibanez SR406 six-string will be replaced by an ESP soon as well.

lol, no problem. Btw, i'm keeping the stock pups in my esp. i mentioned switching to barts earlier, but it seems unnecessary.

I have an active C304 neck through with EMG's in it and I love the sound quallities. The frets are a little too large for my tiny hands but still an awesome playing bass and like I said, lots of sound possibilities. Plus its red quilted maple so its real pretty
