Essential equipment for gigging.

Hee we go again:

Bass
Backup bass
Jacks (2 or 3 per lead used on a gig)
kettle lead (again 2 or 3 per lead used)
Amp
POD/D.I. in case the amp goes down
Spare old strings
Plectrums (in case you get blisters/sore fingers)
couple of power extensions
few phillips screwdrivers
a spare 9v battery/adapter
Spare valve/fuse of each type you may need if you're lucky enough to be using valve gear

...thats about it - much more is overkill and you could PROBABLY get by without it
