i've got Evah's on my new bass (came with the package) but not really sure if I like them...the G string does not sound very pleasing to me... too much ring, too bright (on my bass either way)...I think I'll put on Obligato's when the Evah's are worn out....
Both the orch's and weichs have green wrapping at the tailpiece, they differ in the colors at the other end. Evahs too bright?Well, that just reinforces the huge interactions among strings, basses, and players.
