Ever bleed on your bass?

That's when you know you're having a good practice :D I was playing real hard when I looked down and noticed a blood blister growing on my right index finger. Said, what the hell, and kept playing. Once it popped I rubbed a little blood on the twelfth fret. Yeah, it's gross, but I'm never selling this bass... it's absolutely perfect for me, the best I've ever played. And what bass couldn't use a little more mojo? :)

So who else got some scars from playing?

I haven't ever had serious scars. I will say though, if anyone's ever played a fender aerodyne precision, those stock strings are an absolute BITCH after a few months. I played my friends' for about 20 minutes, and my fingers were RAW.

Happened to me once, several years back. Was trying to loosen a rusty O2 sensor underneath my truck. Wrench slipped, and I smacked my left middle finger.. Hard... Several days later the fingertip was getting quite swollen and painful, and getting worse. Had a gig that night, and something had to be done. Went to immediate care, and they burned a small hole in my fingernail. Bled everywhere.. Had it all bandaged up, and soldiered on.. First set got a bit messy. Rebandaged it over break, and didn't have any more issues after that...

Like this? That is Harley Flanagan of Cro-Mags

While playing Bebop walking lines over "Afternoon in Paris" at a very fast tempo a year ago, I hit the side of a cut that was healing on the side of my finger. It looked like a fountain was cascading down the side of my bass for 2 mins.

I refuse to stop playing unless my hand comes right off :D

Never bled on one, but my shirt did!
I had a maroon shirt that the color of bled into the white of the bass from my right arm resting on the body and sweat made the color bleed into the finish. Sort of looked cool. Soft red hue in the finish.

Sorry; best I could do.;)
