A c-melody saxophone. Just bought one last week after wanting one for ages. It's fantastic; it looks and sounds very similar to a tenor (you probably wouldn't notice the difference), but it's significantly smaller and lighter; and it plays in C (as opposed to Bb or Eb)!
No more transposing in the middle of a jam! Whoopee!
