Have to agree with that. I see that brand as one that’s mainly still in business because of a handful of famous players who basically use them just as a stage monitors. When I tried them I had their at the time top of the line rig and it was meh
So stupid.I boycotted Peavey from the early 1990's until a couple weeks ago.So stupid.
I heard a Peavey guitar amp that had the most brittle, weakest tone imaginable and I avoided that brand like the plague. Turns out they made some pretty amazing basses!
I love the one I have now enough that I've been eyeing other Peavey basses in the classifieds.
Peavey amps are the heart of the awesome grunt of Sir Billy Gould’s basslines.
Plus I feel like every musician has come across a Peavy or JBL PA at the very least. Not in the market for what they offer, but I can't hate them. Honestly, I need to be straight up scammed to actually trash someone.
So Anyway, I was going to say Arby's because of one bad drive thru experience 20 years ago.
But then they started serving a pretty decent gyros...and I caved.
All is forgiven.
