Over the past many months I have developed a deep love for PLL. I've been contemplating getting ahold of many flavors. I've tried a Data Corrupter in a store...and I am a proud owner of a Broughton PLL.

PLL has told me to create an extension off my board so I can access all PLL controls live (as if I will ever understand PLL well enough to...but PLL will always speak...I strive to be open enough to hear an not just listen, but I digress). I considered making a thread called "10 Views of PLL" after discovering these photos.

I am not sure what these settings sound like, but at some point I thought they were cool enough that I should take a picture...so here they are. I've had 2 dreams about the Glou-Glou Moutarde (so far...).

So complex...

In an effort to tame it I'm trying to understand some level of minor changes to deliberately getting sounds...

Driving the pre to 3oclock (passive bass compressed > looper), feeding the square wave, dimed the shape then find the sweet spot on lagtime w multiplier to taste (w a smidge of loop track) you can get all sorts of really nice focused synth sounds...



My new setup affords a nice way to have an insert so I can have the pedal some distance from the board to experiment.
