Can we get a sticky at the top of setup and repair so that folks can find all their bass refurbishment and renovation needs in one spot? It will save this site a lot of bandwidth by cutting down on needless searches along with helping to reduce the number of new threads by people who don't use the search function. Do an advanced search of the entire forum (titles only) for custom pickguard or pimp and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Finally got done modding my bass.

Here's the breakdown of additions:

Aged cream pearloid pickguard, control cavity cover and battery cover

Gold Pearl Shell Knobs

Cream pickup covers

DR Marcus Miller Fat Beams

Aguilar OBP3- vol, vol, push/pull mid adjust (400Hz down position, 800 Hz in pulled position), Stacked tone (treble/top and bass/bottom)

I did a combination of StewMac ground shield paint and copper tape, but only in the control cavity and cover.

I removed the chrome cover over the neck pickup and decided to keep it off.

The pearloid knobs change appearance depending on the angle you look at them and the lighting. These first two pictures are with flash used, ambient lighting coming from outdoors as well as having a room light on.

Here are two more pictures with the lighting dimmed and the shades closed to block the outdoor ambient lighting.

I'm also going to get one of these straps from Eyeland Enterprises, but in natural instead of red.

Which website did you buy the aged pearloid pickguard? I could only find the bright, more white looking pickguard on Pickguard Heaven.
