Exar Tourbox Thread

I have an Octavium that I got for a second pedal board I was putting together for guitar. It's a cool and fun effect. Nice and compact enclosure. The octaves down sound really good, I prefer them a little more than the octave up I think. The tone knobs on the octave downs make them pretty flexible. Getting the levels of the octaves with the direct signal mixed just right is key to make it really sound great.

I'm not real happy with the clips I recorded, but here they are anyway. I don't know where all the additional noise came from, but I couldn't get rid of it. :crying:

This one has a little bit of all three. Left side is DI'd and right side is mic'd; details are in the link.

This one is just the chorus and distortion. It ended up in mono, because I'm so smooth like that.

This one is of the Octavium into a trimpot modded Russian bassballs. It is in stereo like the link above. It is pretty short.

Hope y'all like them better than I do.:scowl:

Got the tourbox back from Cheapbasslovin yesterday! Whew, that tour was exhausting. :p I'm going to have to crack the whip on people a little more next time, especially early in the tour.

If anyone is interested in buying one of the "toured" (used) pedals at a nifty discount, PM me. I also have a Multi-Wah that was in a tourbox on TGP, available at a discount. I'll clean all the pots and make sure each pedal is in good shape--and the 3-year warranty will still apply.
