Excellent Corporate Gig!

Hi,

Yes, I know I'm burning up a lot of electrons lately. The band has had a busy summer with some excellent gigs. This past Thursday we played on the mezzanine level of the Westwood Medical Building for a "Tenant Appreciation Party". Traffic was a bear getting to West LA but we made it in time.

We were right on Wilshire Blvd. just off the 405 freeway.

The event had about 400 attendees and was decorated in a "western" theme.

They fed us well. :)

Including desert.

We were in the shade and the breeze kept us comfortable.

Here's Art on guitar. Our regular fiddle player was out of town but our old fiddle player, Paul, does a good job when we need him.

Jason is always fun to play with. He is a bass player's dream drummer. He's that good. :smug:

Jeff was having his fun on the keys this afternoon.

And our lovely Kelly really knows how to look and sound beautiful.

I'm starting to look old. Maybe I should consider having some work done since I'm making all this money this summer. :p

Here's Kelly on a break.

Kelly's husband, Jack, is our sound guy. He actually makes a good living in real estate but he likes coming out and supporting the band. Behind Jack is Amy, the event coordinator and the nice lady who hired us.

After this gig we packed up in a hurry because we had to get back to the Orange County Fair that evening for more fun. We are gettin' it while we can. :D

Break a leg everyone!

Thank you for your indulgence,
