Line 6 suggests the Mission Helix expression pedal for that unit. Look on page 53 of the HX Stomp owner's manual. Sweetwater sell them.
Yup, I'd taken a look at those and the other pedals that are @ Sweetwater. Just wondering what everyone else is using. Are the Mission the bees knees or is there another sweet spot to take a look at?
Line 6 calls for a TS jack with a 10k pot. Not many generic expression pedals meet this spec, which is why a Line 6 specific unit keeps things simple.
The EHX dual expression pedal is spec'd @ 10K but I don't know if it would work well or if at all with the HX Stomp.
I use the Mission pedal. It just works. If you plan to mount it, order the base plate at the same time.
I tried a few cheap ones in an attempt to be thrifty. Epic fail. Have the Dunlop mini exp and it works just fine. Should have bought it to start with. Would’ve saved almost as much as the Dunlops cost.
The Dunlop mini works well on my small board, if I had more space I'd go for the mission to have the extra button.
I use the Moog EP-3 with my HX One but, as mentioned above, it’s TS so I had to use a patch cable and set it on “other” for it to work. The TRS cable that comes with the pedal doesn’t work.
