Experiences with bassstringsonline.com?

I've seen several users post about bassstringsonline.com. I just placed my first order from them and saved over $12 off Amazon or GC. Any other users have experience ordering from them? Any other online string retailers you recommend?

I have no affiliation to any music retailer. Just looking for feedback.

awesome retailer to buy from. honest people. my first experience with them... i placed an order for 6 string set that was pieced together and they emailed me saying they changed my order. they basically gave me a better deal by combining a 5 string set with a single high c. i was fully content with my order to begin with considering the "discount" was just a couple of bucks, but with that gesture, they gained a regular customer.

I've been dealing with them for awhile now and I am a very satisfied customer. I do not buy strings from anywhere else now. They have them all in stock most of the time and if not, they will let you know and if it takes to long to get them in, they will build you a set. Jason knows what he's doing for sure...

He got me some hack of a deal. It´s even cheaper for me to buy from him than here in Europe. So go figure. Anyway I will take advantage of my brother who will go to Boston this summer and will order a couple of strings sets and have them sent to him in order to bring them to me when he gets back.

This was true in my case... except the Belgian Custom offices are now milking everyone that purchases goods from outside the EU .

You pay an extra 12 € only for them looking at your package... (and it is for everything; second hand books that are larger, vinyl records, ...)

But, the prices and the CS I got from BSO is fenomenal.

I know, and you're lucky if you get away with the default 12 €... If they think it is worth more, they'll charge you some more income taxes as well...

Only once, and that`s because I forgot about `em. DOn`t have to buy strings too often & I`ll usually check eBay first. My experience with them was positive & I think I`ll check it out again.
