As @Wasnex suggested it might be as simple as the output level to the house speakers is not "strong" enough.Thank you for your reply i really appreciate your help. I tried adjusting the level also.
I changed the input on the restaurant sound system that should be receiving the signal from the external socket, but I’m not getting any signal at all.
I might try increasing the volume, but I don’t think the issue is related to the level. It seems that the system isn’t receiving any signal from my EV Evolve.
The restaurant speakers are working properly, so that shouldn’t be the problem. The cables are also brand new, so I don’t suspect a hardware issue there either.
I believe I’m simply making a mistake somewhere in the app settings, or I’m not routing/sending the signal correctly from the EV Evolve to the restaurant’s speaker system.
I suggest working with the restaurant folks to determine how that XLR input of theirs works and where it goes.
It would probably go to another mixer sitting-in-a-closet where that channels input gain might be set low (and need adjusting) as the last folks to use it had high output levels from their rig. idk..
I would also confirm that their XLR cable is in fact - in working order!
