explain your Username!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I seem to be the only fretless player in a 50 mile radius. That explains the fretless part.

The Friday part is a lot more complicated, like I got the bass on a friday, and never having played a fretless before, I gigged with it that night. The guitarist seemed impressed (though I know full well my intonation was horrible) and christened the day "Fretless Friday"

Of course, I went into the music store with the sole intention of buying a fretted J bass, and decided to see what the big deal about fretless was. Played the bass, and couldnt bear to part with it.

FF.

my username comes from an honorary nickname given to me by my friend jeff who happens to be one of the coolest people alive.
anyway, back to the story: plainly put it stands for Pimp Daddy Dave 'cause jeff one night got it in his head that i hide my beotches in my closet and that's where all my money comes from. the 1644 comes from P being the 16th letter in the alphabet and the two d's being the fourth letter.

a lazy little stoopid-ass white boy like me couldn't come up with anythin better.

Yes I love punk but I don't eat donuts much it came from a nofx t-shirt which said PUNK n DONUTS which was written like DUNK N DONUTS I think. It's a well known donut franchise in the US or something I think anyhow I thought it was funny and since it was one of my favourite gigs I have ever seen, it stuck in my head an it's pretty much unused by people I've never seen it on other forums although this is the only one I post on an enjoy reading.

Many authors have been quoted in bands. MY fav one is in "Of Wolf and Man," which is: "In wildness is the preservation of the world," which was penned by John Muir. It means that we need to have wilderness, 'cause that's where we came from.

Rock on
Eric

ummm...are you sure that wasn't Henry David Thoreau? He says it in Walden I think, most probably in the last chapter, and Walden was published when Muir was 16 or so...therefore I doubt he was the one who said it.

One of my other indulgences and expensive hobbies is fine Micro brews and hanging out at pubs that brew them. Pale Ale, the copper colored "British style" variety, just happens to be my favorite. You know how it is: Rock and Roll and libations go hand in hand.

Um, I play mostly heavy metal and the Latin(?) ending -arch means "to rule", ie monarch (one rules), oligarch (few rule), and metalarch (metal rules).

Not latin...Greek.Comes from Archon,which means master,lord.

Ah, thanx. I wasn't exactly sure. I would like to study Latin but my school is too poor to offer more than Spanish. C'est la vie.
