Explorer-style project

A bandmate gave me this neck and body. Apparently he had started trying to refinish it years ago and never completed it, and all the parts went missing.

So this leaves me with basically a clean slate. It's a set-neck, maybe even a through-neck, with a string-through body.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do about the finish yet. Can anybody identify this logo?

My main question is about the bridge. What kind of bridge would you recommend for a low-budget, giggable, string-through project bass? Why do you recommend it? Where should I buy it from? Thank you all in advance.

Cort used to have some with headstocks similar to those.

As far as a bridge, a Gotoh 201 would work on that.

How would that bridge be used with a string-through body? Would the strings come out the back and down into the body holes?

That's an Arbor logo.
But oddly, even though I've seen many neck-through Arbor Explorer basses, most that I've seen have the traditional Explorer headstock...

Yeah. I have a Gotoh 201 clone that has the string through holes on the baseplate. Whether or not they match up to the holes already drilled into the body you have I can't say. But the probably would.
