Extra fret position marker

My Fender Squire classic vibe 70's P-bass has an extra fret position marker at the top of the fretboard near the nut. It is a little hard to use this fret, but I do sometimes. What note does this marker stand for?

What note does this marker stand for?

Depends on the string you’re playing on, the key you’re playing in, and how your bass is tuned.

Most common answer will be “F.”
