OK how about this one - it happened yesterday. I was watching the TV and the home phone rang. I immediately knew it was going to be my brother on the other end. How did I know that?Phone: If you've ever had your phone sitting next to your stereo, you'll know that the stereo will pick up the waves and start playing back signals before the phone rings. It's quite probable that our body has a way to intercept those signals too.
.
Now before you start with your over-simplified explanations, let me put a few things straight. No I was not expecting a call from him, or anyone for that matter. No he's not the only person with my home phone number so it could have been any one of hundreds of people calling. To make things even more random, he usually calls me on the cell phone rather than the home phone, so there was no routine adding to the expectancy set. Oh and if you're wondering if my home phone has caller ID, multiple ring tones, or any other device that helps identify a caller, it doesn't.
Am I claiming to be psychic or have supernatural powers. No, not at all. I'm just wondering how much we're yet to learn about the human body.
