"F" Logo Ashtray on a Squier-Tacky?

I am going to put in an order with guitarpartsresoure.com....I'm getting the tort guard, pickup cover, and a bridge cover....but they don't offer the plain chrome jazz bridge cover on there....I know allparts.com does...but I'd like to order everything from one place if possible.

They do however have the "F" logo for the jazz bass, I am just wondering if this will look tacky since it's going on a Squier?

Nope, its a fender product . Pretty much the same shape etc, i think a plain cover looks "tacky".

You can always change the logo on the headstock...
Though if Squier made a cover with an "S" on it that'd be cool...

My headstock is...I guess you'd call it unfinished? It doesn't have poly on it, it's smooth so it's not a Squier sticker I don't think, I think it's screen printed on...which would mean sanding it off...I guess I could do that....I think I'll just get it for now on the Squier, and if I ever upgrade to a Fender, I'll take it off and put it on there...

why are people so overly concerned with putting the Fender name on a Squier, it's still a Fender product.

and doesn't the Vintage Modified Telebass say Fender on the pickup?
