You know.... I went to practice last night at the guitar players house. He kinda lives out in the sticks, and I used my High Beams for improved visibility on those dark country roads........
No point, just sayin......![]()

I'm unfriending you for all your stupid earring posts.![]()
!I Told you the interwebz are dangerous!!![]()
And to be blunt, if I don't really care about speaking with someone from HS, etc., why on earth would I care about how many times their kid "used the big-boy's potty"? (one of my friends from HS actually posted that...)
Not if I unfriend you first for all your stupid beer pics!
Dangerous indeed, but I'm willing to brave that danger... if only for the pr0nz. High beams seem to lack that particular aspect and thusly are far less enjoyable, lol!

It's beer. The elixir of life. Not some hipster irish cream crap.![]()
I don't know how old your friend from HS is but young mothers abuse Facebook to no end. ...

People want a place to express themselves. There's a lot of stuff that would be difficult or embarrassing to talk about in person (mostly because very few people want to listen to it), so it's easy to type it into FB. I think the same thing about blogs. Someone has a bunch of opinions about politics and what is wrong with the world, which no one wants to hear. So they write a blog and imagine that people are reading it.
While I tend to agree about some people over-sharing parts of their personal lives, it's easy enough to block those posts. I find FB to be extremely helpful in keeping regular contact with extended family and friends scattered across the country and around the world. Through FB, I've been able to reconnect with friends that I had lost touch with years ago and had no idea how to find. FB was also responsible for me knowing about Phalex's Christmas underwear.
