well, i know lots of folks consider FB to be "evil" or at least a waste of time. it's not my favorite --- not as 'cool' as TB --- but i actually use that platform for:
- family and friend news (and pics/vids of my grandkids)
- a couple of user forums/groups related to my music endeavors
- ads/notices/promotions re: my bands
i don't sweat the dribble on FB. it's not as entertaining for me as this joint is. i give it a strong "4." out of 10.
I follow several bands from TB, Vulfpeck, Springsteen, Tom Waits, The Blades, Joss Stone, a couple of others.
I also follow Lee Sklar, who regularly gets banned for his very forthright opinions on the state of the US.

All the bass or music related groups I followed started posting more stupid memes than music so I got rid of them.
i wouldn't know --- never searched for one.
i thought TB was the be-all-end-all. the great kahuna. the bee's knees. the bomb, elephant's adenoids, cat's meow, ant's pants, tiger's spots, bullfrog's beard, elephant's instep, caterpillar's kimono, turtle's neck, cat's pajamas....
are you thinking otherwise? asking for a friend.
I follow the groups that have gals in them.
On a serious note, I follow my local bass players group, I follow the "Bass Players United" group and I follow my local show listing group.
I gave up on all the guitar groups I was in. In one of them, a bunch of idiots were talking about how they’d never own a guitar with pickup rings.
I said something like maybe if you spent more time playing and less time looking at pictures online, you wouldn’t care about stuff as dumb as whether a guitar had pickup rings. They got upset, and one of them called me a boomer.
