factory second neck?

This one is a no-go due to the "wavy nature" mentioned. However, generally, B-stock necks that are stamped used or whatever are often fine. Often, it is some other part of the guitar that had problems. I have a Mustang Bass with a B-stock neck that is my favorite out of all of the Mustang Basses that I've tried. I got it from Franklin Guitar Works (MIRC as mentioned earlier in the thread). I actually got four Mustang Bass necks from them as part of this transaction and kept the best one, but the other three were also perfectly fine.

problem solved.
(theres no ethical dilemma here because Fender has never made a bronco bass. so anybody in the know is at most gonna do a double take. i also left all the squier markings on the back and neck plate)

Unless you know exactly why it was deemed to be a "second" (i.e. there's a fault), you are taking a blind risk.
