I'm considering purchasing a used pro jazz bass for $1,000. Does anyone know how much the standards were discounted when the pro series replaced them? I read somewhere in this forum that new standards were discounted to $900 when the pros came out. Just trying to decide if I should grab the used one for a grand or wait and possibly pay around the same for brand new one. Any insight on this would be great.
