Fair price for SVT 410hlf?

Hello,
I'm looking at getting a 410 for smaller gigs that don't require my 810e fridge. I found one locally for $475. It is good condition used, I believe at least 20 yrs old, but sounds great (I went over and played through it already) and doesn't look it's age. Is this a good price? They seem to go for less here on TB, but that sometimes includes shipping.

I'm planning on trying to talk him down, at least to $450. Any thoughts on this?

Talk him down ever more.

You can find fridges for less than that.

I'd start at $350 at most. The guy might think it is a low ball but he has his expectations way to high.

I recently had two of those for sale. One was 6 years old, the other less than 2, and had them priced at $400 & $500. I got the full asking price for the older one and kept the newer one as trade bait for a future fridge.

Start at $300 and work up from there. He won't take it, but the asking price is too high.

Top out around $400. Bought a pretty new PR410 HLF for that much recently.

The HLF gets more money on the streets, since it is a 4 Ohm cab intended to be a smaller alternative to the 810. 410 HLF's in LA in good condition go for $450. The same condition 410HE goes for $350, while the fridge in good condition goes for $600.

I picked up an older HLF and an Ampeg B2R for $400. Both in great working condition and decent cosmetic condition.

Update: I offered $300, and he countered with $375 (original asking price was $475). Definitely thinking about taking it at this point.
