fair price for used AVRI 62 P

I'd say the price is fair/slightly high.
You should be able to get that model used at around $950- 1,000 in a private sale. Of course, if it is an especially good player, the difference is negligible in the long run, as finding your Excalibur transcends considerations of profit and loss.
