I'm in. Just recently got a Barbershop (for the second time…dunno why I got rid the first time around) and then fell head over heels for the Unpleasant Surprise, which delights with everything from ripping gated sounds to burpy synthiness that plays beautifully with my 3Leaf Proton. I didn't even expect it to be quite that dynamically inclined. Awesome, awesome, very awesome stuff.
(I also still have an Accountant, but that's off the board right now, since there's no space for it and I hardly every used it. It's not him, it's me.)

I almost want this.
The two things I'd like different would be the high cut switch on the outside and the in/out sockets on either side rather than on top.
I'd order one If these things were different.

Very cool! But yes agree with the two points above.
As cool as it is though, I can't see me getting one when I already own a ME Barbershop. Although it would meant I could fit one more pedal on my board...

I would want some form of bypass switch to help set the volume at unity gain or slightly above. Otherwise, it's a guess. A toggle would do.
That is a good point. Although, in my case, I have a Barbershop Millennium and a Blueberry in a loop. It would be very easy for me to set unity volume with the external loop. I think it will appeal a lot to people like me that have it as an always on pedal, in a bypass loop. I sold my original Barbershop and went with the Millennium purely for space saving reasons. This would be a great next step. I would keep the Millennium if I got this one however.
One could of course get the mini barb and then rehouse it with the sockets placed on either side and exchange the presumably pcb mounted switch with an outside one. Provided the sockets are not pcb mounted...
To me that'd seem a lot of effort though...making the hookers green a nice small alternative to the barbershop, rather than getting the small version.

Alright, I just bought another Barbershop(V.2 Millenium), and I have no idea what could possibly have convinced me to sell the first one 
I have owned a ton of different overdrives in the last 2 years trying to find "the one", and this one just works. The only thing that comes close is the SFX Red Dragon which is a great pedal itself. The Bshop is transparent, and just adds something to the sound even at low settings similar to a really good compressor. In front of an envelope or phaser it really makes the effect sound FAT. Wonderful pedal. This one isn't going anywhere.

The high cut doesn't change anything for me. Re the plugs - I kinda wish the power was on the same side as the plugs - here you end up losing 2 sides instead of just one.
Now, however packed, there will always be space for my Barbershop ME on my board, so I don't really need this, but:
This is beautiful and another great and aesthetically pleasing reason to love Fairfield's stuff.
The in/out on the sides would have been nice, with the power socket sharing sides with the in, as on the BS v.2 and the accountant would have been nice, I think.
Actually thinking about it I would prefer the jacks to be on the bottom rather than the top. As there's no foot stomp there's no point it being at the bottom side of my pedal board, I'd be more likely to put it at the top end, above all my other pedals. With it like this it would have to be upside down.
Anyone know how open Fairfield are to doing slight mods to their pedals when you order them?

I see no reason to even mount this on top of my board. I never really mess with Barbershop settings. Stick it underneath and DONE!
Good point. The only reason why I ever mess with my barbershop is when I change to a drastically different bass.
I mean damn dude - between this being able to go underneath and maybe replacing the COG Grand Tarkin with the Sfx micro-fuzz, that's going to open up enough space for me to add the EHX Key 9 and not lose any other pedals.
Maybe I could even have enough room for the Tru-Tron.....
