I don’t know but maybe they were hard to make? I think they only made 999 like the V1 Barbershop.Does anyone here know and is at liberty to say why 4 eyes was discontinued?
The only one I've seen is from demos in the dark. I'm considering buying it as well, it's such an interesting effect plus I want to see how it behaves with the Hors d'OeuvreI have now watched a few videos , demoing roger that.
T
he more videos I watch, the more I feel , it might come in handy and useful.
But...are there any good bass-centric ones ?
I don't have the one with the french name. The only one I've seen is from demos in the dark. I'm considering buying it as well, it's such an interesting effect plus I want to see how it behaves with the Hors d'Oeuvre
Yeah I don't know if 900 adds much if you already have the 4 eyes. I'm a bit on the fences for roger that because I'm not sure how many useable tones I could get that my unpleasant surprise (+ a ring mod that I'm going to get at some point) doesn'tI don't have the one with the french name.
I do have an operator though, which should also be interesting.
Apart from that I am starting to feel that between roger and 9oo ish, riger may be the more interesting pedal, even from just a fuzz standpoint - being a 4 eyes user.

Why so many of each. Is there anything different between each(each shallow water and each barbershop V1) , besides varying serial numbers and led colours(in teh case of Barbershop V1?Thought I’d post some Eye candy

also I have two V1 Barbershops for sale if any of you are interested(not the ones in the picture).
The internal clocks and LPG settings are usually different on the SW so some are real subtle in the modulation while others are really present. The Barbershops are more noticeable in differences, the SAG being the one component that sets them apart from each other. I've had some that had more volume/Gain than another B'shop. Why so many of each. Yes, I know there are subtle diferences, although with the shallow water...might that be due to the setting of the internal trimpot, maybe? The internal clocks and LPG settings are usually different on the SW so some are real subtle in the modulation while others are really present. Yea I was told not to mess with the clock but I'm free to mess with the LPG trimpot, I'm most likely going to sell the extras down the line. I use some (On guitar) as an always on modulation, a kind of low pass filter-ish sound and a really detuned warbly sound.Yes, I know there are subtle diferences, although with the shallow water...might that be due to the setting of the internal trimpot, maybe?
Those are why you (seem to) buy so many multiples?
Interesting
Do you also use them in different ways?
Couldn't agree more. Still exploring it but I like it before my dirt and I tend to prefer sine (although if I want a crazy wall of sound, square ring mod is amazing).Randy = fun and useful and interesting - and imho.
what dirt are you running it in to?Couldn't agree more. Still exploring it but I like it before my dirt and I tend to prefer sine (although if I want a crazy wall of sound, square ring mod is amazing).
Unpleasant surprise and about 900, all in the loop of a hors d'hoeuvre. US as a fuzz and 900 more like a fuzzy od/dist. With US the randy is crazy, makes a lot of strange but beautiful noises. Tremolo is interesting as well. With 900 it makes more usable sounds (since it's less gain). I like it with either of them for different purposes.what dirt are you running it in to?
