I am still on the fence. I use the 4 eyes and unpleasant surprise and feel no real 'need' for the 900 ish at this point. Would like to meet one in person pre purchase to see if my mind gets changed that way.my most recent Fairfield pedal purchase was the 900. i find to be very versatile in what it does, from clean to overdrive to all out fuzz.
One of mine has a green and the other has a white one , both pre trimpots.Oh yeah, you might be right about the numbering, I can recall reading a similar comment elsewhere, maybe in this very thread. There are definitely 2 versions of the Millennium though- I owned 1593 and 3054, and they had very different circuit boards.
Yea the newer version retains more bass from my experience, Big box really emphasizes treble.Wasn't there a difference in low end cut off point between the larger box Barbershop and the newer ones with the newer ones having a sightly lower one?
the trimmers set the bias of the Jfets. you should NOT attempt to adjust them.Does anyone in here have a diagram or link to what the internal attenuators are adjusting in the barbershop V2? Thanks
Thank you sir-the trimmers set the bias of the Jfets. you should NOT attempt to adjust them.
I pair it with a Shallow Water to add some radio noises/ White noise.Still thinking about buying a roger that. Whoever bought it, how do you use it? I'm kind of looking at it like something between a drive and a fuzz that goes really weird if wanted. In that case I'd probably like it
Very Low. Unless you somehow convince them to make you a custom pedal, which they’ve said they don’t do.How does the FC 'club' community rate the chance of them bringing out something with CLEAN and 'uncoloured' DI out and/or something with a really hight grade buffer ?
Did the large box ones with slight variation such as varying pcb colour like the small box one does/did?V1 Barbershop owners, what numbers do you own ? I own OD210, OD277 And OD584
No its mainly just the biasing of the JFETs that cause the slight variation.Did the large box ones with slight variation such as varying pcb colour like the small box one does/did?
not yet, but will try...Anyone use their Shallow Water as a "Preamp"? With Damp, Rate, Depth at zero and ,Mix at 10-12 o'clock
