Is this true or fake Bassman 50? I've never seen anythink like this before ( some minor things are different ) and the price is ... funny 150$

I did a googlesearch , ebaysearch and I've never seen a bassman with "bassman -50" sign and letters in this font

Fake. You can tell definitively by the chassis views, the transformers are not Fender, there's no capacitor tank, and all the circuit boards are wrong.

i didnt notice any UL stickers, lol.

there have been quite a few few fakes over the years, though.

OTOH, it is a lot more of a "true" PTP than the fender counterpart. not that this in and of itself actually means *anything*.

I sold a 1978 135w bassman head two years ago, and for sure that is not a fender one. But is a good fake, the one who made that head made a good work, and for that price maybe has a good sound. looks heavy.
