I checked couple of treads about RIC and could not find anything about this recent discovery at ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280610776341#description

Now. I asked for serial number and got the answer that does not correspond with posted question. I was just asking for serial number (second time, guitar is about 3 weeks on ebay). Ser. number says week 32, 2010. Previously, seller said it's "selling 3 such guitars to get himself/herself fourth for free"? That does not make any sense to me.
Does not look like genuine 2010 model (no stickers). Everything else looks pretty close. Rosewood neck looks little too bright, color is too bright, I think. Maybe, someone with better eyes can spot something weird here....

Even, I think, that should be reasonable price for (real) RIC anyway...

Any help here?

Dude, I see a hundred things wrong with it. Look at the bridge. look at the pup cover, look at the nut, look at the inlays, look at the clownglo finish ( oh wait, that could be a real Ric finish), look at the horns, look at the TRC.

Trust me, if this is a genuine Ric, I'll give you mine for free.;)

Yeah I think that's one of the chinese knock offs. It looks like they are getting them into the US and selling them on ebay to move them.

from the listing:

"Inspected, Insured and Shipped from U.S.A."

"Seriel#= 1032926 located on Jack Plate Your guitar was manufactured in week number 32 of the year 2010. Seriel Decoder The "R" word is not used anywhere in my listing. However the photo's are of the item you are bidding on"
