Fake RIC????

Not sure if I looked at this in time. But if this is the thread I remember from a few days ago those pictures were not photos, but graphically designed mock-ups of a 4003. They're pretty convincing but if you look close you can tell it's neither a real Ric nor a real photo.
I'm kind of amazed at how all the Ric fakes out there truly look fake (as far as wood-and-metal copies go). I have never seen a Ric copy that fooled me just yet. This one sort of had me until I realized it didn't exist at all!

Hey folks, allow me to add some insight here on this Fakenbacker.
The eBay seller who had the original posting in this thread I believe also used another seller ID. Neither is active now. I bought what was advertised and I believed to be a new 2010 Rick from the seller's 2nd ID (which I did not know of at the time). I was tipped off by another eBayer about all this after I found out I had been duped. Live and learn. I should have been smart enough not to buy from a seller with 0 feedback... but everyone has to start somewhere, right? Suffice to say I was not shipped what I paid for, opened complaints with eBay, PayPal, my credit card co. and the USPS for mail fraud since it was shipped through the US mail. So 4 months later and I'm finally credited in full, won the cases and am a bit smarter about buying on eBay. And I bought a new real one for less than I paid for the fake.
Oh, and the Rick knobs the seller bought? They are on the POS I was shipped, each one in the wrong position...
