Nothing on that bass looks right. Not even the strap.
The truss rod groove in the headstock - from what I have seen they either have a hollow plastic sleeve, a "bullet" adjustment that protrudes, etc. - but not raw wood. The not so rounded edges of the neck and neck pocket. No skunk stripe (not all Fenders have them, but most production models do unless they are a 60's reissue). The shape of the pickguard is off (too angular in spots). Pickup routs/cavities in body and pickguard are off. I'm only counting 9 screws holding the pickguard on, there are usually 10.Wow guys, I am not as knowledgeable as I thought. As I public service what do you guys see wrong? Off the top of my head the head stock decal doesn't seem right for the year, the relic job is horrible and the pick up cavities are sloppy. If this wasn't brought to my attention I likely wouldn't have caught it. Thanks.
People suck.
