IIRC he gave that one away in a Guitar magazine auction-the winner never played it and sold it on, and the current owner of it now posts on either Invalid Link Removed or Invalid Link Removed

The guy who now owns that bass (and a number of other ex-Mark King basses) lives in France and administers the level42.com website.

ive seen the video on youtube when he throws it up into the air onstage.

when it was put back together by his tech, it was painted purple and wa modded many other ways

I thought that Jaco threw one of his bass into a bay while on a boat. If this true, was it ever recovered?

Probaby predates the Hofner. I think they were solid. Must have weighed a ton!

I saw what was supposedly Felix's EB in a pawn shop window in NYC years ago. I was in too much of a hurry to go in and play it. I'm still kicking myself.

Flea's Jazz bass is a '61 Shell Pink given to him by a fan. It was featured in an article in Bass Player magazine sometime last year.

Actually Stanley has been discussed three times. Waaaaay back on Page 2, CTbass&birdsong posted two Spellbinders. Not only was Stanley the original owner, but he was involved in the design and manufacture of them.

Stanley Clarkes 1980s Spellbinders Long scale SN#4( only 1 made) and short scale SN#3 (only 50 made) link to more pics.. Link Removed

its a 62 or 61 strung with flats. He owns both but i dno which is that aged white.
