Sounds to me like desperate attempt to get people to actually notice he was gone.

Possibly.

A common courtesy in leaving relationships is to tell them you're leaving and why. Not in anger, but in rational terms. Hopefully the party will take the comments to heart and make changes to be better in the future and to others. They may or they may not, but it leaves no doubt in either parties mind.

And frankly, he's got a point. A lot of TB is the same ole BS being rehashed over and over. If it's not that, it's noobs who are to lazy to do a search, stupid stuff like, "Hey dude, anybody hooked their bass up to the toaster?", equipment that the latest fashion or fad, and a basic high school level fan boy attitude overall. Good info over here is getting harder and harder to find.

My favorite ones are the posts in the For Sale threads. The ones that say, "Dude, if I had any money I'd buy it." What seller doesn't love to hear that.
