Fastest wanted to owned turnover time?

I thought this thread was going to be about "fastest wanting to owning to turnover (as in selling) time"! I bet it's a matter of hours in some cases around here.

Sometimes Minutes.

I've seen this exact scenario play out a dozen times since joining TB;

See/Pick up a bass on TB Classifieds

Bass Arrives and within a day the This is the greatest bass ever thread is posted

Within a week tops said Bass is back up for sale due to GAS for something else and the buyer uses the previous thread for images and descriptions with the old "the pics are better in the original FS ad" line

I've even seen threads linked in that manner that were close to a year old.

I got it from A who got it from B who got it from C who bought it from D and here is his thread for description and images

Anyone else see this?

I have seen the exact same thing. My first bass was like that (I still own it). The funny thing is, is that my older brother was the one to sell it to everyone. It went from a buddy of his in cali, to a buddy of his here in vegas to him then a couple of parents bought it from him, and gave to me as a Bar Mitzvah present. I love the thing.

Well, lets see. I wanted a Victor Bailey jazz, but I keep playing my Geddy which is a 70s style jazz.

So I looked into a Marcus Miller. Now Im sending the PayPal to the seller ASAP.. Possibly next week, but it is mine!
