Favorite 1x10

Hey, your timing is interesting! I've never owned a 1x10 cab, but I'm about to build one. Have you seen this thread? :) http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showthread.php?t=736360
IIRC, three people already have parts on order, me included. And IMO, a lot more people (check out the # of thread views) are waiting to see what the guinuea pigs think of it. If you're looking for a "full range hi-fi type 1x10" this probably isn't it as there's no tweeter or midrange driver. But this little cab sure looks to be a really good deal. $125 for the whole shebang and it's got a well-known Eminence driver? You really should peep that thread.

This thread would allow one to build a similar setup (minus the mid drivers) without having building skills or tools...

But I think you checked that out already.

I did and I'm considering it. However, I'd be looking at $350-$400 depending on how much work I wanted to put into making them like yours. Smoothing the frequency peaks, running a tweeter on the top cab, casters, handles, linking them, etc etc etc. It all adds up quickly. I might just get an MB112 and get over it. :p

BFM Omni10.5. It's the perfect cab for that size, for me.
Top cab on the rig shown.
