One of my bass buddies coined the term 'LA teeth' white, which I suspect he was using not in a good way about this little baby of mine. But I'll have to give him that it's a great phrase; besides I love the look (and it sounds pretty darned good too!)

I voted for wood, but I really like pretty much anything that shows wood grain through any color/shade of transparent finish.

According to NAMM, red is the most popular guitar color, that includes basses too. Never saw a breakout for just basses.

I have 4 basses. Two are red (Fireglo & Wine Flame).
